Last week was fire safety week! A few of our teachers at Sioux Central are volunteers on the Sioux Rapids Fire Department and they offered to come help out with talking with our preschoolers about fire safety! The kids absolutely loved it! At the end they were definitely excited to see the..... FIRE TRUCK!
We talked how firefighters are nice and how we should not be afraid of them and that they are there to help us. We watched him put on the gear so we could see that it was still a real person under all that special equipment!
